On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
V6 transplant was created by Johnniehec
Anyone looked at or done GV V6 into Jimny transplant? Thinking the 2.7 would be interesting!

Why ??????? worse fuel consumption and jesus what a headache with getting it wired up and running not to mention actually squeezing it in there :sick:

Not sure it would be suitable for everyday use. But I you have the skills, why not give it a try?
The one Rhinoray built is with the older 2.0 v6 engine from a Vitara.

The V6 is only 140hp! You'd be better off fitting a fruitier 1.6-2.0 4cyl engine. The 1.6 version of the Jimny engine in the Swift sport makes nearly that much power without adding any weight!

I will stick with Diesel can tweak my Isuzu to 120bhp and get the economy as well cant see the point of some screaming petrol engine for a 4x4 torque is what you need not revs
