I am fed up polishing my aluminium manual hubs so bought a C5 Wheel Armour kit. It is designed to seal and protect alloy wheels and polished alloy against brake dust, dirt and salt for up to 2 years, the detailing brigade swears by it. Apparently the dust and muck just jumps off the surface, hmm we shall see.
It’s not cheap, but even if I get a year out of it on the polished alloy hubs I will be happy.

Please report back on what you think and how it performs. The Wolfrace alloy wheels on a Scimitar are a polishing nightmare

It must be Xmas, you don’t get anything for weeks and then new stuff turns up nearly every day.
Today it’s the turn of the front brakes with EBC discs and Green stuff pads.
Next Monday it’s single hex sockets in 1/2” drive and a micro turn socket ratchet (100 tooth) from Halfords for those difficult to reach jobs (like the fan belt adjustment). I know this as I had to go and buy them for my misses to wrap up.

Several items
Combined LED DRL and night side lights
A bit of a waste of money, they even included a battery pack, 8 AA cells and a switch so you can see them working
Then I have become a bit obsessed with finding the ultimate treatment for the polished alloy hubs, so went via Meguiars metal polish and wax last week
and some polishing balls
to a replacement alloy polishing kit (mine was 30 years old)
and finally FK1000p metal polish and protective wax
Hopefully one of these treatments will keep the hubs nice and clean for longer than 10 days.

A set of 2017 SZ4 alloys, which I'll have refinished in gloss metallic black for the new LCV. I like the design better than the gen4 SZ5 alloys, which you can't get anyway.
