Today my Jimny's in the garage round the corner, having some trailmaster castor-correction bushes fitted...

Having had a 2" JimnyBits spring lift fitted, it seems to give more lift than the +50mm (+2") trailmaster lift I had on previously (but took off to sell the jimny, but it never went!), and it does wander a bit and feels vague on the road...

I was going to fit them myself, but talking to the owner in our shop and he said he's got a full set of SnapOn bushes pullers... so I thought I'd let them have the fun on a ramp with the right tools, rather then me lying on my back (in the rain today) with some heath-robinson equipment...

:S

Took the sill covers off today as I am paranoid about rust. Sills look good but the seams are a bit flaky. Rubbed one down and gave it a coat of Hammerite.

I fitted an 'engine chip', which cost £9.50 from ebay so expected nothing but have been pleasently suprised it is defo quicker and a lot more responsive. |Just have to see what it is like from a fuel point of view.
