I Finally got around to knocking up a suspended/folding table system for the rear door on Jim.
Designed to take a 'standard camp stove' and brew making tools
Had all the bits needed laying in garage from various other projects over the years so didnt cost me a penny.
* bonnet straps - eBay
* 14mm p clamps - eBay
* RAC safety rope - B&M
* cable ties and heat shrink tube
* rubber checker plate sheet - eBay
* 18mm mdf shelf (pre bevelled edge)
* MDF sealer and a dulux tester pot to paint it
* 3 hinges (I used internal house door ones)
* nuts/bolts/fixings to suit hinge holes plus large 40mm washers for inside the rear door card for extra footprint strength.
(note, depending how long your bolts are on inside of door card, you may need to trim them down so you can 're mount the door card without hitting the internal body panel.
I cut all of mine down flush with the top of the nuts)
shelf size is cut dowm too 60cm × 25cm...
you could go slightly longer but I found 60cm is more than adequate.
needless to say, measure twice... cut/drill once!
here are some photos, still want to add a few tweaks but all in all its spot on, and a fraction of the price of some of the kits on the market.

Well was going to post a question last night about a funny noise at 1800 rpm and forgot. Soooo this morning was off to do some fencing and turned the key to get a start and then another funny noise and battery warning light came on.
Popped the bonnet and alternator belt off but not shredded. Went in and had a google and crank pulley possible cause.
Sure enough
Once i took the tension off the belt the pulley came apart pretty easy.
So why am I posting this.
Well I found this guy very helpful in particular the trick with the 19mm spanner into the slot of the pulley.
If you are a member here fair play thank you
And the second trick of the 17mm socket on the end of a 3 ft break bar and cranking the engine to crack the pulley bolt was perfect.
Bought the pulley online from Febest €36 €20 post and some tax should be here Monday.
All done

Put the new crank pulley on and went cattle moving .
Also wired up all my rear lights and the tow bar light socket on Sunday so well happy and legal.
