When I bought the car, it was used for a few months (by the previous owner) to transport what I can only assume was hay or sawdust. I remember it took my ages to get it out of the carpet, and eventually I just ripped the carpets out. I noticed the back door latch was constantly open, the mechanism wasn't working at all. This caused a lot of loud banging as the door wasn't latching onto the frame properly.
Took all the back mechanism apart and re-greased/re-oiled as it was stuffed full of gunk and dirt. Now it moves freely.
In the process of taking out the mechanism, and finding it was just dirty (and not broken) I removed the bolts out the back of the door handle and the fixed friction nuts set into the plastic of the handle tore through the brittle 20 year old plastic - phoned suzuki and got a new one straight away next day.
All fixed! Nice shiny new handle on my back door, and hopefully a door which is a bit more secure and maintained.

Being an impatient kind of person i put my other job on hold and got the ramps out.
Jimny up in the air and impact driver in hand it was zip..zip..zip all three 8mm bolts removed, jacked up the gear box and removed the old mount which had separated into two parts.
New mount placed in situ and three bolts loosely fitted, lowered the box down then with the impact driver it was zip..zip..zip SNAP, (did i mention i was impatient) i'd snapped the center bolt, i then had visions of removing the transfer box casing but i thought lets try drilling it out as it might just pick up and spin out with the drill bit, and luckily enough it did just that.
New mount now fitted and secured with a 3/8" drive ratchet.
My driver has way too much torque.
