I fabbed the boxes up using 3mm x 80 x 80 box section then welding a 6mm 80 x 80 end plate on and drilling a 37mm hole through the centre of the end plate for the stainless steel cylindrical shackle mount to slide through from the rear.
The shackle mount is held in place with a circlip.
I then welded each fabbed up box to the bottom of the rear chassis leg ends. The 3mm 50 x 50 box section running between the chassis legs is just there for extra lateral support.
