Did my 30000km log book service
I also realised my antenna was broken, so I replaced that too.

It's been sat up for a little while so took it for a spin down a few lanes by me

replaced the rear grab rails for something more useful :woohoo:

Changed my headlamp bulbs for some OSRAM Night Breaker Unlimited seem ok so far .............. :whistle:

So after much searching, I found a 1.8L VVT engine from a Suzuki Liana, code M18a.... with only 40000kms on it!!!!

needless to say I bought it. Now I just have to wait a week or two until my schedule allows me to drive the 200kms to pick it up

Today I completed my first mod, a K&N panel filter was fitted and it makes a subtle difference.
After the K&N was fitted I watched the tail lights pull out the driveway as the missus disappeared yet again for one of her many trips she's arranged to show off the new motor, while she was out visiting her younger brother had a short drive in the Jimny....... his Mini is going up for sale very soon and he is scouring the internet for his own Jimny as we speak

Gave the old shed a good clean up wizzed the polisher over it as it was looking very dull and flat.could say its pointless for the use it getsand the condition of the paintwork but it wont harm and i used to be a bufty years back so still get the urge to do a decnt clean now and then
