Got the kingpin bearings changed on one side nice and simple job, a lot easier than I was expecting. If any DIY mechanics are thinking of having a go then take your time when you strip it and be sure of what come out of where, be meticulous with your cleaning, and follow the guide provided on this site and you will be fine. Definatly achievable at home.
I did find today that the slight play in my rear wheel has become a lot of play and a horrific rumble/vibration so rear wheel bearing is about to be ordered, more fun and games next weekend
