Actually drove it 
insured and taxed now, I'm fairly happy with how it drives, hold the road a lot better than I was expecting. Brakes however are awful, lock up far to easy and pull to the left. Other than that though, chuffed to bits

Junked the arm-rest as above 
stripped the rear again and connected my tow-bar socket wiring
decided I don't need any more rear anchor points :S
