Unfortunately I don't know them by name but there were a few really rutted and muddy ones. One lane in particular was really thick, reddy/orange mud that started by a farm.

Top radiator hose decided to pop and split, spewing antifreeze :( . Been weeping for weeks, replacement still not arrived, had to resort to making one from Grecato-super-flexible-hose , worked a treat, back on and off the road :woohoo: . Luckily no other damage, spotted steam and stopped the engine. Phew.

Wired the rear speakers in (factory mounts) it sounds better.

Planning a drawer system. Because i use it for hunting and fishing itll be good to have somewhere to put wet waders and jackets away without getting everything else wet. I am thinking two vertical drawers on one side and a box on the other for a dog box. Anyone have any ideas?

Installed a cb radio today with the aerial mounted on the boot. Im picking up pretty bad alternator whine tho so Im going to run power directly from the battery instead of from the radio.

Shouldn't you fit a suppressor to the alternator??

I'd be interested how you get on with dynapros, I'm considering them as my next AT tyre.

I've already ran a set for 50'000 miles on a grand vitara before I bought the Jimny, and I reckon when I sold it there was another 15000 miles easy on the tyres! My off-road experience with them was minimal- nothing more than a few wet grassy fields, but during the particularly bad snow we got a few years back they were fantastic and when you consider how cheap the are (£50 from camskill) I cant think of a better choice of tyre.

Fiiddled about with the CB some more today, when I wired it up I took the power feed of the ignition switched power line to the radio but this resulted in a lot of interference, so I tried it from the permanent power line instead and its actually a lot better. Don't have to bother running a line to the battery now! :)

Then I removed the Jimny badge from the rear, and moved the rhino badge over to replace it. I also removed the spare wheel cover and I think it looks a lot better!
