Treated mine to a new cb aerial and lead and set the swr. Got the swr down to 1.7 and dinner was ready, so that'll do!

I'd got one of those splitter boxes that allows the CB aerial to be used for the stereo radio and had worse radio reception, so the CB aerial must gave had issues. I found the coax cable split and all external plugs and joints quite rusty.

So rather than mess around trying to polish a turd with the damaged stuff I just bought it all new again as it's not expensive to replace. I've got my own swr meter too, do that was no issue.

Realised the jimny engine i just fitted has no compression. That's why it won't start! Thanks to the guy that sold me that. It now has to come out and find another. Grrrrr

Fully tightened the hub nut this morning, yes it had come slightly loose after 1 days off-roading, so my word is, DO NOT use a hammer and punch/chisel!
