Sadly soft top wouldn't of been suitable for me. Just looking for a simple removable panel for the roof of the one I have.

I looked at this some years ago on my old jimny.
As has been said it's not a flat roof so some sort of filler/seal will have to be used in the deeper ridges. They are not particularly deep.I would suggest possibly some spray foam filler with mastic on the outside or deep rubber trim.
Internally you will need to build up the other edges as the "outside dents" will protrude inside although this could be done with some nicer trim eg universal rubber door seals???
I don't know if the glass type are still available new but there are still some s/h listed on ebay.
There are also some complete modern car electric type panels with rails but these will require some serious cutting.
Have a search for sunroof or universal sunroof.

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)
