Kingpin technic trackers are sold by 4x4tyres.com in 215/80/15
When there is no profile listed they are usually 80 profile
so the size is 215/80/15; 100P is the load and speed rating

In know that Kingpin tyres are cheap but they are cheap for a reason. I would spend a ew extra pounds on Insa Turbos or Maltesta's, or even Kumho KL71's.

Hi there !!
I am considering looking for a beefier set of tyres, but being a kid, I have a tight budget.
Is lifting compulsary? And will I need to find a new set of rims to fit the tyres?
Can I find tyres the same size as my stock ones, but ..more offroady..?
Thanks !

Hi Luke and welcome,

The easiest way to answer this is to refer you to the "WHAT TYRE SIZE" article by Martin on the General Information tab on the Home page as it answers your question nicely.

I would suggest though that as tyres are not cheap, if you plan to off road your Jimny, to save for a lift and get the biggest tyres for that lift at the same time. Otherwise you'll buy smaller tyres now, want to do more, get a lift and then buy a second set of tyres wasting money on the first set.

I know it's hard on a budget especially when your young and want it but it's a lot cheaper to do it once!

If you have no intentions of off roading it, just get all terrains as mud terrains are crap on road and noisy. These will look the part.

Just don't off road it if you hadn't planned to though cos you'll get hooked and before you know it will have created a winch challenge truck!
