New to the site so hey ;)

Just wondering where people are buying these external roll cages from, rough prices and fitting costs
would be helpfull too. (have done a search but didnt come up with anything of interest).

And buying spare bits in general - I know of ORA, this forum's shop, KAP Suzuki, eBay, etc - is there any where else?

Seems a top site from what I've seen so far, i'll upload some pics of mine hopefully later, all help appreciated :)

Hi there and welcome along!

Cages can also be got from KAP Suzuki - Keighley, Yorks and ORA in Sussex.

I don't know how much they charge, you'd best phone them, but I expect it to be about £1200.00 these days for a full external cage mounted to rock sliders and the chassis. That's a complete guess and I expectsomeone will come along soon and give you a much more accurate figure - RB are you there???

Appears Rhino Rays will supply + fit a 6 point ext cage for £850 - which seems kinda reasonable.

However a 5hr drive in the Zook isnt very appealing :(

Also i have a snorkel fitted to mine and see that the cage runs up the side of the wind screen, im assuming theres a way around this, anyone?

Why not an internal cage?

Much much better protection and better looks, and you can get a OMP with a bolt-on / bolt-off diagonal tubing.

Hmm, im a bit torn between the two tbh pal.

Had an internal on my first jimny and liked it (and there much cheaper) but always had an itch for an ext cage which won't go until i get one

Thinking about it I may make one, i can weld and i can't be the first person to diy?!
