Not sure if you'll have seen but im on the hunt again for another Jimny, really cant think why i sold the last one now

Basically im selling my current daily then finding a replacement jimny asap

This is my current daily

www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/11-for-...v-vtr-swap-for-jimny

Ive been offered a straight swap for a 2002 Jimny in red, 4 months tax and test, 1 owner from new, 30k miles, completely standard down to the stereo apart from some wind deflectors

Ive no idea what a 2002 jim is worth but what do we think?

thanks

If your car is really worth £3,800 then I would say whoever was looking to swap the Jim is getting a pretty good deal.
There are a couple of great looking modded cars in the for sale section at the moment a lot less money than that.
£3,800 for a 2002 Jimny is definately winter prices...

What do Webuyanycar offer you for the VTR?

But if you want an easy life then why not go for it, selling cars is such a hassle.

Steve- thanks for the reply but I'm not looking to start with Antigua modded as much as that, wouldn't mind tyres etc but was really looking for standard bumpers and height etc

Rjd - sorry bud thought I'd replied already, same goes as above but thanks, looking to start with a standard one as it will be my daily

Goat - local we buy are absolute crap, mate took his mint 197 there and they started telling him it had been crashed and welded on the strut tops? As in the factory welds etc offered him 2k for a 6/7k car

I was looking at the prices of used earlier this week, 03-04 cars certainly seem to have settled at the £3000-£4500 mark... depending on the kit fitted (towbars etc)

When I was looking for mine the prices almost seemed to be plucked out if thin air, you have to look around. Looking on auto trader, you can see a difference of about £2k and sometimes it doesn't matter whether it's a jlx or a jlx + or the mileage!

In the end it's up to you if your happy with the deal and the jimny is in good condition with a long mot and tax + a good history then go for it mate. ;)
30k is a very low miles for a 2002 jimny as for the prices it's worth about £2.000 for a high mileage to about £3.000 for a low mileage one.
