I don't know if the 1.3 in the Jimny will be powerful enough to power the truck and a hydraulic winch pump, but I don't know.

I'm playing a bit of devil's advocate with the winch business I know, but have made my point.

So, let's hear other people's dream Jimny set up's then!

You certainly have a point. I think at least a 1.6 or 1.9 TDI is the way to go for hydraulic winch.

Still interesting to hear others opinions on winches.

Are the Volvo axles portals???

If so, that's taking it to the extreme - portals on a Jimny!

I think I'd have trouble with the arches covering the tyres!

Volvo's are portals 1540mm track ~ 7" wider than stock. Some +ve offset rims would help along with some bushwacker style flares. Move the axles forward & back a couple of inches & whack on some 38" tyres (maybe 40" :woohoo: )

Now to just win the lottery :angry:
