I'd say get a Goodwinch TDS 9.5
The TDS Winches are probably the most reliable if on a budget.

Before I bought my TDS winch I also considered a Superwinch Talon. But found several bad stories on google regarding the Talon winch. The TDS I have only read good things about.

Edit:
sorry, didn't see that this is your max budget. If the orange color is your only grudge towards the winchmax, a can of black paint can easily fix that :-)

I would be interested in people's opinions too as not looking to do winch challenges or anything, so don't want to spend a fortune on a mega winch.

Just a bit of back up when solo green laning.

I'll be using the winch just on green lane days out .helping others out save using my clutch up pulling others . So what you think of the 2 winches ?

Many of the ones on ebay rated at 120000_130000 are the same winch just rebranded i have the cts one and its a good winch had very good reviews from the green oval bunch
80000lb is enough for a jimny but may strugle moving a bogged down landy out of your way lol

Generally speaking a 9000lb winch is plenty big enough for a Jimny and a smaller one would do. Before you buy a 13000lb winch have a look at the gear ratio. They generally achieve this level of pull by making it extremely low geared. This means its very slow pulling in which may not sound much but can become very irrirtating. Look for a winch that has a ratio of say150;1 to 175:1 and generally it will be fairly quick. The Jimnny is light so it will easily cope and still be quick. I like Superwinch and also Warn but they can be expensive. Both are good quality, or as said above Goldfish from Goodwinch - David Bowyer.

Manual VVT, 2 1/2" lift, ORA castor corrected arms, 2" ORA body lift, 4:1 transfer box, Uprated front shafts & CVs ERM , ARBs back & front 3.9 diffs, 6 point cage, ORA winch bumper - Superwinch EP9, ORA rear bumper, ORA axle truses, Diff guards ERM , TBR tank guard, Snorkel, Kumho KL71.30.9.50 15
