I made my own mounts for the SJ box (using Land Rover Front Radius arm axle bushes) and also, mine is a standard, not lobster box - but the principle is the same.

The X-Brake just bolts on the back of any SJ box. You need to find an output flange to go on the back and the kit contains custom washers to adapt for the lengths of the different flanges available.

For a Lobster box, I would strongly recommend one of the bucket type mounts which relieve some of the stress on the mounting bolts. With the lower ratio, the reaction torque on the mountings is higher and can tear them out the side of the box - which will give you a bad day!

The best design I have come across is that of Mr Rockwatt, to know how Tony's mounts work, you'll have to wait and see what he supplies or ask him.

I'd imagine Richard only supplies his mounts with the Rocklobsters he sells though, for obvious reasons!

I'd vote for Rockwatt too. Never met him (though I'd like to!) but I've seen some terrific work from him!
