I,d be more tempted to put a stainless box on as they get a lot of shit on and don't last two mins and you could buy a stainless for about same money.
As for the air filter it does make a good difference and sounds good when it drawing through the snorkel. I,ve fitted a larger bore stainless systems with no cat and 32" tyre and still get about 30to gal. I,m just having a go at 4 branch manifold
