And better mpg B) . All gains from the K&N I love it easy to clean to . Get the k&n cleaner and oil £15 but lasts a long time . And nice to know its protecting your little 1.3 :)

If K&N filters were so good,it would be in Suzuki's interest to fit them as standard. As for MPG claims, forget,i put so many pounds worth in and got x no of miles.Fill the tank til you can't get another drop in & reset the trip, drive a good distance then refill til u can't get anymore fuel in,divide miles on trip recorder by gallons of petrol on second fill and you get the exact MPG.As for cleaning the standard air filter it could not be easier,do what Suzuki say and blow it out with an air line + no need to oil,Simples!

Don't forget as well, the odometer might be out due to different rolling circumference of non standard tyres.

just a minor update as I've just filled the tank up

since fitting the K&N I've just covered 205.1 miles using 33.36 lts which is 28 mpg (9.89 km/lt in new money) which is exactly what I was getting before.

However, the right foot was much heavier than normal as I enjoyed the new sound the truck made

Also, for a third of those miles, the big rack was fitted, so the aerodynamics were worse than the standard jimny brick effect, more like a brick with a parachute.

plan to use a lighter right foot this time and get a true comparison ... before and after
;)
