Here's a freebie unless you count the wear and tear on the jigsaw!
Cut the front bumper.
I cut my bumper along the line of the top of the centre black section,

I left the centre, now lower, fixing tabs and cut a section from the black centre section which with its fixings has left the bumper fairly well fixed, unfortunately cutting a hole for my winch mount has weakened it slightly

Either look for some 2nd hand or get something like Kumho KL71 that will do the muddy stuff and still be OKish on the road.
Then go have a play and get muddy. You should soon realise what mods you need to make to have the level of fun you want. (which is normally some sort of supension lift and/or body lift and bigger wheels).
Assuming you want to mod to go offroad that is and you don't want a street pimp wagon :woohoo:

Be careful, modding your jimny can become a slight obsession. Start off with small things and see where you end up! If your not wanting to fork out too much for wide tyres you could get wheel spacers and you could use spring spacers rather than lift springs.
Having said that, I used spring spacers at first and without realizing my 11 year old springs had sagged loads. When I put a pro comp 2†lift on with new springs and took the spacers off, it actually lifted it 4.5†from where it stood before any spacers!
