Today i got a head torch on and looked through the trim, to see a big rip through the cone
So looking to replace them with something a little better.
Not bothered about masses of sound and would rather a
Does anyone know what adapters are needed? The PC2-802 looks right ish.
Would rather use an adapter rather than soldering spades on.
Cheers for any advice

can't advise on adapters, I'd just be using bullet connectors
all I'd say is that if I were doing mine again, I'd be looking to make the recesses bigger to take larger speakers, as even putting in better 4 inch than the standards, doesn't make much difference - I'd certainly consider doing some cutting work and putting in some a135 cms at least - or maybe even leaving the panels off with some surface mounted speakers down there.
have fun

I came across some old 3-way components that I had fitted to my old Orion way back so am looking at how I can get them into the Jimny at the moment. I have some 1" tweeters that I'll mount up high like ZukeFastback and some 4" mids that I'll put in the standard front location. just need to figure out where to put the cross-overs and the 6.5" mid/bass speakers, not sure if I'll get them in the standard rear speaker location.

I'll be fitting 100mm to match the standard... although will probably stick some better quality ones in. Halfruads have some Alpine ones for £25 'reduced' from £50
Is speaker depth a standard? The Sanyo ones are about 40mm deep, and there looks to be limited space.
Websites i've been looking on hardly list any specs, apart from the RMS and Max.

Cheers for the info, I'll take a look, but it sounds like I'll have to mount the bigger speakers elsewhere

It's fine Saves having another speaker thread!
Picked myself a set of these up on the way home today
www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servl...-1_categoryId_165707
They look reasonable, and don't appear to difficult to fit using the existing mounts... might have to open the standard holes up a couple of mm, and file the one hole out.
Also ordered a set of these to get from the standard loom to a standard speaker
