If you are fairly confident with tools then you shouldnt have any problems! The main thing is that you make sure you mark the holes in the correct place before you drill!:whistle:rhondda jimny wrote: done just orderd it . is it easy to install as i have never done anything like this before. and what tools and parts will i need for fitting . any info would be a big help to me . thanks
If you have all the tools to hand and are confident it should take less than an hour to fit. Took me about 30-40 mins but I had my wheel arch liners removed already so that made it easyier!
You will need: Tape (to hold the template to the wing), a drill, drill bits (various sizes including a 78 or 80mm bit), centre punch, hammer, sockets, spanners, screwdrivers and silicon sealant.
There may be other items required for the removal of the wheel arch liners but I cant remember how I removed them!
If you have any other questions give us a shout.

The photo has the 5 holes to the right of the intake lined up, but the last hole seem quite a bit out?

That guy lives in France most of the year, fitted that snorkel to his just after I fitted mine to my last car, same bumper as I had on my last car too so we had a few emails back and forth. I'd just put my snorkel on my car when it was 3 months old lol. bit easier with current jimny as its about 12 years old !
