My 2006 when it was standard I was getting an average of 36mpg, since adding Grabbers AT2s 205/75/15 I now get 33mpg.

I got 38 mpg on my first test then 37 on the second test. I have not used my Jimny offroad yet. 2006 is year of my car. Bog standard wheels and tyres.
Mind you I think my fuel tank must be the size of a teapot as I can only get about 280 miles on a tankful.

:( 27 to 29 mpg pretty standard 2007 vvt with general grabber 205/75R15 AT2's and 32mm spacers -
but most of the last 2 tankfulls were with the "pallet - roof rack fitted" on short work commutes with Air-con blasting to de-fog the screen - and of course with slightly higher revs to fully appreciate the exhaust note :S

interesting observation though ........................
just before the fuel warning light came on today, I was surprised to find the 43mph wobble had totally gone, however, after filling the tank to the cut-off point - guess what, the wobbles back - and so is the dash rattle :pinch:

does this logic work - it looks like the wobble can be solved by slightly increasing the mass at the front of the truck - the only possible way to this would be by fitting an ORA bumper :woohoo:
wonder if I can convince the wife

I have only checked mine once when I first got it a few months ago, 34MPG. 2004 M13A manual. That's with going to work and back 5 days a week @ just over a mile down the road so mainly on cold! I do have a habit on starting her up 5 minutes or so before I go anywhere to warm it up for the kids. This adds up to easly half an hours running extra a week without driving, so I'm sure this Will have a effect on the Mpg. Think the kids need to start wearing their hats and gloves !

I'm filling up later today so will do another calculation.

Is this a common thing with Jimny,s then guys? Mine does it at the excact same speed! (A slight wobble) My drop link from the steering box has the slightest and i mean slightest bit of play in it so thought it must be that, or possible wheel balancing???

It's isn't really enough of a wobble for me to want to do anything about it?
