Rear Door Storage Net was created by Green
I've seen photos on here of people who have made storage nets for the rear door of their Jimnys. I've had a look again but cant find the threads (bit tricky to navigate this site on an iPhone!)

I want to make on of these storage nets myself and took a look on eBay for the net. Found some nets but all with clips etc on them which I wasn't really after. Has anyone who's made one of these got any links of where to get the elasticated net from? Was also thinking of making one for the rear part of the roof, has anyone attempted this?

Hmm they look pretty smart. Think I prefer the netted version tough. But I can't seem to find the betting material on its own, say off a roll. I've found it ready made with attaching clips etc but I don't really want that. The article posted above is from 2008 as well so I doubt the eBay seller mentioned in the article is still operating!

Hi Halford, we bought a couple of those storage things- put one in the back of the jeep as anything which isn't tied down blows away and it is very handty for light stuff- hats gloves ,aerosols etc,

I put one in daughters Jimny and the whole thing wa sheld by 4 poppers and inevitably it split near a press stud. It would be OK if riveted to a plastic strip first, then attached with self tappers, so I've kept it for a spare.

It did prompt me to tapatalk but it cost a couple of quid. Only really use it one my iPhone at the weekends. During the week it's all on the computer!

Is it actually worth the money though? I was a bit aware that apps like that tend to turn out to be a bit crap.

Thanks Mike - good feedback, ;)

will stick with my original plan to have some threaded rods piercing the rear door trim with nice S/S eye nuts - and just use whatever storage is needed

although a Cargo Rail withLashing Eyes is prefered but a a bit pricey :pinch:

Ive found it to be great. You can easily post pictures with it too, so quick snap and you can have is straight on the forum :) Only downside I have found is I cant use any emoticons on it.

Oh right. Fair enough. I might make the purchase shortly then! Any ideas of where to get a roll of netting for the rear door at all? Lol
