sorry - couldn't resist

best next mod?

depends on what you want to do with your truck - green lane or pay&play or compete

greenlaning - decent set of All terrain tyres, recovery gear (for getting or giving tows - decent recovery point front and rear - standard jimny ones are made not man enough, 5 metre hd strop, spade etc), then a 2" lift maybe

pay and play - probably be better with a set of mud tyres then it depends on how hard you want to play - big lift , rear locker, winch, cb, etc as a lot of pay and play sites have been destroyed by land rovers on giant tyres so will be full of deep ruts, big axle twisters especially on anything not horizontal
if you go up in tyre size to 30" + then you'll need a rocklobster transfer box

last time we went out to our local site we had to wait for a traybacked defender that got stuck crossaxled on a gentle-ish incline - wasn't a happy bunny when we trundled past

competitiions - a credit card with a big limit and/or fantastic welding and designing skills

you will need extended brake lines and adjustable panhards but you can probably get away without castor correction for 2"
