I'm up for it, there's a couple jimnys here who will more than likely go, we should still do it if It doesn't snow, there's a fair few lanes here witch I could help with jo king to have a route planned + top it off a a local woods witch I can ask permission for the end of the day, its used by the winch challengers. It has nice stuff + hard things if your brave.

Could be a good day out, snow or no snow

jo king wrote: All welcombe meeting place to be comfirmed.. cbs in all trucks would be appreciated ;) and os maps to be confirmed. This will take place on the second day of thick snow of first weekend. whole days worth of driving mild and not so mild green lanes and road. Convoy will split at times and rv at different locations to allow for different truck to get there kicks. ;) First meet will be over exmoor and north devon second will be from exeter to trago and back through dartmoor.
Stops will be at pubs or may be a case of bring your own food. Should be a good crack ;)

If you want a hand with the maps and bits, give me a shout jo king, if not tell me to do one mate ;-)

Cheers

Man this is going to be a great day :) Ok this is what I was planning I am after someone who can lead one team and another hopefully me leading another team I have done pretty much all the lanes but as my car is standard I think I will take the less adventurous on the more milder lanes and rv at different places ok. I am wanting some to lead who has good bit of experience with snow and ice. So r_ogilvy
seeing as you grit roads I think you could be good at the front of one team.
ooky_123 if your up for it you can lead a second team. r_ogilvy we are going to have to do a recce on some lanes are you up for this.. I'm happy to tag most of it but as I said I will opt out of the hard core tracks. We are going to need a head count and the days people will be free to take part... ;)
Bring kinetic rope. or 12 mm nylon rope as does same job and cheap and bloody strong..

Sounds like a plan, I don't mind what I do.
I will try anything so I don't mind what lanes we do.

How many people do you think we can get?

Me personally, Im off into Hospital on the 23rd, so wont be walking / driving for a few days. 31st is out for me (family stuff). - assuming I can make a date, will either be on my own, or have my 6 yr old daugher with me (wife opted to stay at home with our 7 month old and stay in the warm / dry !)
