the standard impreza seats are nice and can be foudn quite cheaply as said

they are just skinny enough to fit in

i fitted bucket seats to the previous 2 jimny`s ive had
this time just kept the half leather oe ones much comfier

I agree - we bought reclining bucket seats, - fitted them....... hated them........ put them back on ebay and bought some second hand later model jimny seats from camsuzuki - much more comfortable

Are the later half leather seats, post 2003, more comfortable than the standard seats? Are they bigger not just higher spec' coverings.

I find the standard seats unsatisfactory in that they are too short in the leg and back, giving poor support on longer trips. I'm only 5ft 8ins tall so hardly outside of the normal range. I have a 2007 VW Touran and for me, the seats are great, so I'm investigating if I can some of these. I
