Thanks dirtydogz for the link, but it doesnt make sense, surely if you fit a bigger tyre to your vehicle, the one wheel revolution will be bigger, so when your speedo says your doing 70 youll actually be doing more, but this link says differently and says if you fit a bigger tyre to your vehicle when you speedo says your doing 70 youll actually be doing less, I dont understand it

If you fit a bigger overall diameter you will be going faster than your speedo. However speedo's aren't very accurate, with 215-75r15's that brings it up to the speed on my GPS.

Just an update for you all then, I finally bit the bullet and bought a set of four 205 75 15, General Grabber All Terrains. I will put some pictures up for you all later. So far I am very pleased with them, they are great off road, and are surprisingly aggresive for a AT tyre, however there is a minimal increase in road noise. Being slightly bigger than the old tyres they look better on the truck, the speedo is not reading out either which is good. On the road the vehicle is a lot smoother however I have noticed it takes a bit more to get up to speed and I have to change down gears a bit more than I did but ill soon get used to that, the worst thing seems to be the huge decrease in mpg, as iv used nearly half a tank and only done approximately 70miles!

The only thing that is now bugging me is the garage did the tracking, but now the steering wheel is way out when travelling in a strait line down the road, I was thinking I would remidy this by putting the car on the drive with the wheels strait and blocking them so they cannot move, then undo the steering joints under the bonnet, level the steering wheel back up making sure the tyres dont move and bolt the steering joints back up again, any one got any thoughts on this?
