Its more accurate if you look at your fuel receipt, as i have never put more than 36litres in mine
Generally getting 32-36mpg
I'm now looking to start using better quality fuel, as it lasts far better, maybe even try V-power if the sums work out when i get round to running my test
Filled my parents 11plate Freelander2 before heading down to plymouth at a Total station, averaged 35mpg. Took it to Landrover (as we were so concerned about it) and they said it was 100% normal. Filled it with Morrisons fuel on the way back, now averaging 45mpg. Same driver, different fuel.
Hi, I drove my bog standard Jimny Sheffield to Stratford as a fuel test and got approx 34MPG overall. 200 miles return on Motorway plus about 60 miles around town = approx 260 miles on a tank.
It's not so much the fuel but the route.
Based on the on board computer my VW Touran 2.0 TDI on a very steady run gets 53 mpg. My average over 4000 miles is 42 mpg
However going from Sheffield 'up north' south to Stratford on Avon I get better mpg approx 56 mpg but going home drops to approx 48mpg. I seem to be going up hill more on the return. I'm not joking.
