makes the truck more stable widening the wheel base
will also be a BIG help in the snow as it'll allow the Jimny the follow the ruts made by "normal wheelbase" sized cars.
personally I think those more expensive spacers would only be necessary for hard offroading, but if you were doing that, then I reckon you'd have offsets on anyway
the best £60 improvement mod you can do
