Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I came across this info looking for Byways. The councils are offering interactive maps with byways marked on them.

Lancashire Map
North Yorkshire Map

You have to dig a bit to select the right option and zoom in to the right level but it shows them on there quite clearly - if there are any.

Thats probably one of the worst CC sites for PROW's - I have ever seen!!

When you got this URL, did you get it from a PROW officer, if you did what was their name and email address please, or did you just find it lurking on each respective CC website??

JalapeƱo, IISY?

I can think of only 2 greenlanes local to you, both are a doddle.

I just stumbled across them. Been having a look for potential routes near me and found no mention really of how to find byways. They aren't very clear on OS maps. On these maps they stand out pretty clear. I wasn't really expecting much more.

Snake rake lane is seriously iffy at the moment though, as its got police Signs at both ends of it, and they've blocked the Sides with massive logs.

Also, there is also garstang Ford if you fancy a play in the water :)
