Evening all!

OK, so I've managed to rust treat my rear roof bar on my soft top jimny with a degree of success. My issue is the front roof bar. No amount of rust treatment will fix it I can promise! It's rusted through, doesn't leak but is now in more bits than it should be.

My question is what have others done when this has been the case? I rang my local suzuki dealer and they want Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£330+vat for the roof bar alone! My other options seem to be raiding the local breaker yards or fabricating a new clamp on roof out of chequer plate, plain aluminium or plastic.
