Bumpy Ride!

I replaced the air in the Tires with Nitrogen, and it really made a noticable difference in filtering the light road irregularities. Nitrogen is probably easier to compress and gives some kind of soft spring rate for minor bumps.
The only drawback to this method is that when deflating the tires for sand driving and inflating them again while on road again, I usualy don't have Nitrogen available, so after 2-3 times I have to empty the tires again and refill.
BTW are the OME springs for the Jimny of variable or linear rate ?

Jimny springs are linear. That's an interesting idea with Nitrogen. I was aware they use it for race cars to keep tyre pressures consistent as the tyre warms up. I didn't know it affected the ride too!

...and is 55% heavier with a wider track and longer wheelbase. It's no surprise they have a better ride.

Liked the vid Halford. Where was this taken in the NE ? I ask as I did a couple of similar routes yesterday between Commondale and Danby (NY moors) and also Danby beacon to Lealholm.
Had to drive mostly on top of the hard rutts/ tracks as some looked really deep for my un-modded jim
Also, are these tracks classed as offroading or laning or both?. I also drove these in 2wd as the ground was hard and dry. Should I have been in 4wd ?
Thanks in advance
