Hi there! I have been viewing the website for a while now, as i have been bitten by the Jimny bug! I've recently bought a stock rag back which will be subject to project very shortly. I have purchased a 3" lift kit, castor correction bushes & extended brake lines. I am no expert, but know just about enough to see me through, (now watch me eat my words!). Do any of you guys have any advice to offer please?

don't close your wallet :silly:

P.S. Welcome to BigJimny.com :) The best advice I can give is to not rush things. While the car is on axle stands underseal the hell out of everything too.

Welcome to the fold ... Donot believe everything you are told about expenses ... Generally they are good little vehicles and, unless your very unlucky or very rough on the pint sized offroader, they wont break.
As has been said though, modification bug is adictive and when the wallet is open, or your out in the mud thinking .. another inch .. or two .. then things get silly.

Welcome and as ooky_123 says, jimny's don't normally break. My one except for kingpin bearings and one rear wheel bearing its bean great and no problems ....

Just be aware of the mods it's a "wallet cracker" ;-)

Have fun around here
