Is this correct? was created by Emplan
Gents, I was reading this on eBay:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-SUZUKI-JIMNY-JLX-BLA...&hash=item336693e6bb
It says its a 2003 model with new cam belt? I was on the lookout for a 2001 model or newer because I was under the impression that they had cam chains from 2001?
Or am I wrong
Regards

Hi - you are right in as much as hard top's had chains from 2001 onwards, although the soft tops had them up to about 2004/5. This one advertised would have a chain, particularly as it says engine size 1328cc which is the M13 chain driven cam engine size.
Therefore it doesn't make sense.

The poster has replied stating that the Ebay entry is incorrect. He states that it had a recent service during which..
"March 2011, serviced and passed mot. the garage changed oil, replaced oil filter, grease prop shaft, removed and replaced o/s/r wheel cylinder and front break pads."
