I've used spacers before on my vitaras and they make the ride very harsh so I want a proper lift kit, thanks anyway.

what martin said is very much true, your gonna have to see what people have managed to fit then take the plunge and go safe or go big but be prepared if they dont fit as you would like..

Very much trial and error, 235/75 are a nice safe bet. At tong, a lad we went round with had a 2" lift with NO body lift and ran 30/9'5 kumho kl71 without much bother.. dont know if they rubbed but only slightly if they did?

I was going to get the 3" ORA kit but after reading how going over 2" on the spring lift can throw all the steering geometry out and needing castor correction ect I am now going to stick with 2".
I have seen the jimny trailmaster advert on YouTube and that seems to handle very well.

The ORA kit includes all the caster correction arms and panhard rods so no worry about steering geometry. Its the best package in mho, if you can afford it all at once. Or I should say I wish I had saved up enough to go the full ORA route from the start. Rob from ORA did amazing deals at the TOR show, its worth waiting for the next one! I'm planning on parts already to get from the next show.

No doubt ORA is good stuff but i would rather do it allot cheaper so ive got money to spend on the rest of my project, after all im only going to be using it for green laning and i want to do the lot for around fifteen hundred and the ORA 3" kit would have used all that, anyway ive done my research and in my mind the Trailmaster 2" kit is the way to go without causing to many other problems also i want to do it all myself because thats half the fun for me.Thanks for the advice on here in a bit you will be calling me a jimny pro.
