just be careful as the Americans call the 413 a jimny so wouldn't know if it fits the UK jimny

they are good though as I have on on the back of my jimny

don't think I would like one on the front though as you can't control when they are locked

Hi,

Well I can answer only one part of the question, the splines.

= 26

But I am fairly sure that the Lockright does not fit Jimnys. The best place to look is on Australian websites as they have Jimnys whereas the USA doesn't

Hi Martin,

Looks the same as I fitted, Brett got it from the USofA, mines a 1999 model works a treat.

Dont know if/when they changed splines

Andy..........................If you do this mod just be careful till you get used to it, can be a little jerky going slow turning wheel, I just go slower round bends and roundabouts.:woohoo:

You can use the lockright locker in the rear, it doesnt matter about the amount of splines because it uses the original side gears. i think the part number is 1510 from memory. As for the front i would go with an air locker so that it gives you more control

Picking mine up in a few weeks, pre-ordered 1510 and collect from Florida! Just hoping on getting crawler gears too :-) only if I get my hands on her credit card!

Should show up well in customs!

It is a fair bit cheaper, considering no postage costs. And I will be passing the 4x4 parts place a fair few times.
I know our good UK suppliers are great valve and supply an excellent service, but they are also stung with import costs.
I would have been the first to buy off our UK suppliers if I wasn't in a position to obtain these parts without the shipping costs.

Once I get my jimny back from west coast off road ctr, in hopefully the next few weeks then that is all I am spending out on it for a good while due to other commitments. This also means if I break the jimny then I will not be fixing it unless it is free.
I have just roughly worked out how much I have spent on my jimny just this year and decided that I must slow down. :-(
