You're right. I was going to take a leaf out of Gaz's book and call it Smoggys unreasonably priced Jimny lol

Apart from all the other work and cash I had spent on the previous build and apart from purchasing the Trepadors. Light bars, ARB compressors, winches etc. I have invested £8500 with Rockwatt and although this sounds a lot Richard has supplied many parts including the Johnny joints at nearly £1100, the special ratio transfer box which I think was about another £500, the pro-comp shockers for the suspension and all the CDS tubing for the cage and steelwork for the refabbing of the sills, chassis alteration, 3 link suspension and pickup/trayback. All in all I believe Rockwatt has spent over £2500 and maybe £3000 on parts. Then there is the vast amount of work to build it all (lots of it hidden work). A very good deal I think for what will be an amazing truck at the end of it and built by Rockwatt himself

I'm really excited and more than grateful to Rockwatt for taking on what I consider to be a formidable build.

8500 English pounds? That sounds like about half what I was expecting for a 6 month project. Good deal there.

I think so too mate for the work that's involved. Rich is doing a full 2 days a week on my truck until it's done so I'll post pics on here each week from him as the build progresses. I'm 120miles from Rockwatts but he is going to send me pics each week (probably starting next week now) and I will post them on here ☺☺☺. Along with the bits I've bought already it stands at about 15k which for the spec of the truck I think is great. Don't even think you can get a bog standard new one for that!

Wow that's a lot to spend on your Jimny Mike, I hope it'll be a fully completed turn key car.

Maybe when it's done you'll be a match for my Pajero and my amazing driving skills.

It'll be nice if you could update the build progress with photos from Rockwatt every week ;)
