Sunday the 20th of October and a subset pf "our little group" arranged to meet up for a days 'laning in the Lake District...
I met Brett at our usual 'heading north' meeting point at the start of the M56 where our two jurneys coincide, and I was following him up the M6 when the signs started flashing that the m6 was closed between junctions 34-35... and we wanted? Yup... Junction 36! So Brett led us round it, so that we still met the others...
... at our arranged meeting place
Left - Right - Riccy in Ulysses, Brett in Jalapeno, Me in S200KYS, Adam in the silver Jimny and Phil & Rob in the big FUN Jimny...
And off we went! I won't bore you with all the photos, so here's the Jimny highlights...
Riccy's awesome Ulysses
Now that's what I call a GREEN lne!
Breasthigh Road ahead!
Riccy fording the river
Brett not taking any bull! This big fella stoof his ground and just bellowed at us!
Me leading back up after Brettwas filming us at the bottom, and so that I could get the rear winch on Adam if required... but no, that Jimny went everywhere... on open diffs
Moving some rocks around before having another - successful - run at it!
Back at the top of Breasthigh Road
Halfway back down...
