Brett is also layed up from a shoulder operation yesterday (i forgot to say earlier).
You would have been fine there Sniper. The Blue/silver jimny driven by Darren was on 215/75 tyres and only a mild lift. Being smaller he skillfully missed the tree stump both up and down

Hello! Just popped by to say Hello and apologise for my absence... I was finally released from hospital yesterday after spending 22 days in their care... Pneumonia with diabetic complications, but I'm now hopefully back home and on the mend, just need time to build my weight and strength back up a bit...
I've probably had at least twenty IV lines in me of various concoctions, two chest drains where they've punctured through my back ribs to release fluid from around the lungs, 5 x-rays and a CT scan to boot.
I can't fault the NHS, it's the first time I've ever stayed in a hospital, and the care, professionalism and cheerfullness through it all is something we should be proud of.
There's a fair way to go though, building weight and strength back up (even the stairs are a struggle today!), and I'm now on insulin for my Diabetes, so I need to get a control on my sugars via self-injecting insulin, but getting there on that already as that started two weeks ago in hospital. I also need to let the DVLA know I've switched to insulin control too...
My next planned trip with the lads is late April, I've pulled out until then to sort myself out (next trip is 24/2 which is too close, and March trip is a weekend away which I don't think I'll be ready for by then).
So I'm back, recuperating, but it'll be a quiet 'build thread' for a while as I won't be spannering or greenlaning for a while, especially with the wife watching over me now
I've been reading all the threads from my hospital bed though, surprised at how many members have already got new Jimnys!
All the best,
Dave

Listen to the wife mate, take it easy and recuperate at leisure if your able. Similar thing with me and it took a good 3 months to fully recover.
Get yourself some chicken casserole and make a pig of yourself....
