Have put them in SJs to big and too heavy and you cant mod the sump as the oil pump sits in the way we used to have to run SPOA to get clearance with +2 springs nearly 6 inches of lift :woohoo:

Ohwell I guess il see what happened ,
And see how I can get over any obsticals. I see. People have put them in other jimnys with no real issues,
I would purchase a 1700 kit , but quiet frankly not willing to spend the money to do so , and I have sourced all parts u need and locally

ldv pilot. tomorrow will be matchin clutches up. possibly the ldv clutch.
the jimny is not used during the week so top end speed isnt an issue.
is all a trial and error thing really. if it dont work all iv wasted is my time and £300 .
im going to put merc springs on the front to stiffen it up and swap front to rear on jimny springs untill im confiedient im happy with everything. before spending out on proper spec'd springs

Hope it all goes well mate but that one huge gearbox to fit into a jimny tunnel and you will need a custom prop to hook to the transfer box also exaust exits the wong side so that will need a good re think be good to see some pictures when its in and running
