I get this, but you could wave 15-18k cash and get quite a lot of cars that technically will be better than a Lada. Or a better investment. I'm even sure you could buy a clean Land Cruiser Amazon for that money too. I know where I'd be out of those three.
But it's a brand new car, that's Billy basic at best. It's also wildly different, which I think is where the appeal is. I'd like one. Perhaps second hand but nevertheless I think they're a bit cool.
A ten or so years old land cruiser vs a new lada vs a 3 ish years old Jimny vs a handbagged land rover between 15 and 20 years old? Hmmm what would I do? Oh yeah that's right I spent my money on the only sensible option. JIMNY!
