Now I know it's not a jimny but I also know that there is some clever people on this site so I was wondering if any one had any ideas why my dash lights and brake lights were stuck on today on my 325 Ci BMW the key fob does not work now so I unlocked the car with the key, it started on the button everything normal then when I switched it off the same lights came back on again, I have now disconnected the battery
Any help would be appreciated

Well
I have been on the net for a while and a BMW forum and apparently one of the causes is moisture in/behind the instrument cluster, I don't use the BM much and there was a large build up on the inside over the last couple of days were it has been mild during the day and -4 during the night, so the result is leave the battery off for a good few hours and it should sort itself out also you can pull fuse 43 apparently and it does the same job but have been advised to get it plugged in and have a look to see if there is any other fault codes, I probably just need to use it more
