well its a new season and things are wakening up at the lotty
thought these were meant to be round - but still taste nice
planted out some leeks
raspberrys are waking up
blackcurrent bushes are bursting into life
strawberrys getting ready to wake up
these ones will be ready earlier
hanging baskets for the house started
time to let her out the shed :S

that's a decent sized plot Jack, mines's only 25m
anything I can help with give me a shout,
mine has to be raised beds as path level floods out - wastes load of space, but is the only way to go in this situation.
start looking to get some ready grown plants, sprouts, sweetcorn etc - you can pick them now and for the next couple of weeks at local nurseries (or give your lotty neighbors an shout - everyone likes to help each other out) so you can get them in when you get the plot, could also get some main-crop potatoes to chit and have ready to plant.
this means you'll get something for your first season, then simply spend time plotting and planning - worth it to get the site just how you want it.

Nicely within shotgun range from your back bedroom window then, Jack....should keep your produce safe from unwanted rodents and other undesirable dawn raiders :evil:jackonlyjack wrote: thanks Halford
