WHY is it always when you want to be outside to do some work to your car, does the weather take a turn for the worst, by trying to get my truck ready for the snow, by performing a days work on it tomorrow it decides to start snowing now!

I'm clearning out the garage once the cars back on the road to give me room to work i think, not going to be impressed fixing it in this cold weather!

I reshelled a Nova Gte once and swapped the gearbox over in the snow - just laid old carpet down over it and wore waterproofs. Couldn't feel my fingers for most of the day but had the gearbox and front suspension sorted in a day despite this.

I wouldn't do it now though, I was much younger, fitter and stupider back then!

working in the snow gets the job done quicker as your freezing your balls off doing it so you can get in for a bath lol
