16/12/08 - Robert's Jimny - UPDATED

A rather nice Jimny from Robert Elliott who uses it for RTV trials.

The specification is:

2004 Jimny Mode
4.5" D+G Tuning lift kit
Lockrite rear locker
Rock lobster SJ transfer box (93% lower than standard Jimny low box)
Transferbox raised 1.5"
Heavy duty transferbox mounts
4 paddle performance clutch
Home made EXO cage, rock sliders, front and rear bumpers
KAP GRP front wings and bonnet
Yaesu 2 meter/70 cms amateur radio
Kenwood CB radio
Cobra Monaco black vinyl bucket seats
interior completely stripped out  (head cloth  the lot!)
rear spare wheel mount bolted to rear boot floor to help weight balance
235/85X16 Insa Turbo Special Tracks
Grand Vitara wheels with modified hubs by 30mm to increase width
Air intake moved to rear of engine bay to help when wading
Vacuum hubs still fitted but controlled by switch on dash so you can go from 4WD low to 2WD low and improve steering for \rtv trails at the push of a button and then back again without stopping.

A couple of update pictures from Robert following an outing to Glentarkie. As you can see he has also managed to fit an 8274 Winch in the limited space at the front of the Jimny.
