we usually do a green laning run about once a month and its usually a day long event. we strive to follow GLASS guidelines and are not a group of mud pluggers! all our events are extensivley planned as one of the administrators is also our local GLASS rep.

we generally operate on invite only so if anyone local is interested let me know.

or a small run around rendlesham, sutton area could be arranged as a sort of meet and greet for jimny enthusiasts in the local area.

I'm in Rochford which is just next to Southend on Sea, Essex. It's about an hour and 20-30 minutes from Sudbury.

ive planned a rough route in my mind just got to check the suitability of the lanes and work out the distance and roughly how long it will take, then you can decide if its worth the trip down. ill probably do this tonight and post more details on here.

I have planned a small route around the lanes near me:

It will involve a 20 mile run mainly green lanes but with some road, it will take approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace (not including any stops for photos, cups of tea etc).

The meeting point will be here Latitude: 52.077971 Longitude: 1.364017

My thinking is that as the weather seems nice at the moment we should do it this Sunday 9/6/2013 meeting at 12 o'clock, me and my misses will probably have sandwiches etc there before we start.

If this is to short notice for everyone a different date/time can be discussed.

We strive to follow GLASS guidelines and all laning is done at your own risk I accept no liability if you break anything (not that the lanes are savage in any way).

Please post if you are definitely interested so i know how many jimny's are coming. locals only as this is a meet and greet for people from Suffolk.
