hi mate,

im from suffolk, where abouts you from?

Get yourself a landranger OS map (the pink one)
they are all marked on there, lots around thetford forest, and lots round hedingham way in essex, depends where abouts you are in suffolk really.

You often find Ordnance Survey maps in petrol stations for the area you are in. Have a gander when you next fuel up.

Another one here up near Lowestoft. I used to live in Benhall Green near Saxmundham, although that was about 15 years ago!

Been a member here since earlier this year, but just been lurking, hence first post. Chopped in my old faithful posh green oval for a Jimny. Seems a bit odd, but it's the first time in about 25 years I've not owned a V8 of some sort. Used to do a lot of trials and stuff, but not for four or five years. Likewise with greenlanes. Done a bit over at Thetford and a few of the local ones here in Lowestoft and that's about it.

The Jimny was bought to make it easier for my Mrs to turn around when she's messing about with her horses (dead end track) and has the same sized boot as the Rangie (with the seats up) now the rear seats have been taken out and a load liner fitted. Still got a few jobs to do on it - front wheel bearings are getting a bit iffy and there's a bit of rot on the boot floor. All easy to sort out though.

I'll come up to Suffolk to join you laning, or meet you in Essex.

Have a look at www.facebook.com/S.O.R.E.4X4 as they are doing a couple of punch hunts this year you might like to do and their winch challenges are good to spectate at. I attend nearly all of the winch challenge rounds and write in Total Off Road about them.

I usually green lane with a Defender too as we are a little out numbered!
