Wind Deflector was created by InverChuck
Anyone use a wind deflector? Spotted one on another Jimny today and thinking about it seems like a reasonable idea as it does get a bit gusty when driving with the window open.

I got a pair of slimline ones off eBay (they're Team Heko) and they do help cut down the buffeting when you've got the windows open. Also handy for leaving your windows cracked open say half an inch with no worries of rain getting in. As a bonus I think they look pretty good too

They're really easy to fit, and full instructions are included. First off you clean the inside of the window channel where the wind deflector clips in. The deflector has a small adhesive pad at each end so you remove the backing from them and then wind down the window, clip it in at the back and bend it so you can clip it in at the front. It should then spring into place and I just pushed it home across the whole length, particularly at each end where the sticky pads are. After that you wind the window up fully to hold it in place while it sets for a minimum of two hours. I got them around March/April time and never had any problems with them at all, although to be fair I rarely open the window more than halfway when I'm driving.
